18 St John Street Chambers’ Business & Property Department was delighted to welcome clients and colleagues to Chambers last week to celebrate Victoria Roberts and Nick Harrison’s launch of their new book – ‘A Practical Guide to the Mis-Selling of Car Finance’, which is now on sale through Law Brief Publishing.
The first edition of this book serves as a practical reference for mis-sold car finance claims and complaints. It provides an overview of all types of car finance agreements, regulatory obligations of car dealers and lenders, and secret commissions, together with an overview of recent case law in this area, and unfair relationship and limitation considerations.

Victoria commented “Nick and I have worked on car finance mis-selling cases since they were first issued building up a wide knowledge of the various nuances on these cases. We have very much enjoyed writing the first edition on the subject and we are pleased to say there will be a second edition once the Supreme Court rule on the forthcoming Appeal. We were very grateful to see so many clients, litigation funders and other industry specialists join us at the launch party and thanks must also go to His Honour Judge Bever for introducing Nick and I at last night’s event.”
