| The Personal Injury department, whose members have been described as being ‘highly meticulous’ and ‘tenacious and skilful’, specialises in all areas of personal injury. We act in all sizes of case, from the most complex serious injury claims to lower-value Fast Track matters.
We act for both claimants and defendants, and pride ourselves on providing quality advice & advocacy at all levels of seniority. Members are known for their sound negotiation skills as well as our approachability and client care. Our clerking team, headed by senior clerk Katie Brown are ‘commercial, helpful, pragmatic and always help to find a solution’ [Legal 500, 2019]. Members are frequently instructed on cases involving brain & spinal injury, amputation, pain disorders and fatal accidents, catastrophic injury claims and other high-value claims including road traffic accidents, employers’ liability, public liability, and product liability claims. Our department is recognised for our ‘strength in depth’ and as having ‘medical knowledge (that) is second to none’.
