The barristers at 18 St John Street are delighted to announce that Laura Broome, Olivia West and Daniel Boal have accepted invitations to join chambers, following the successful completion of their pupillages.
Head of Chambers Richard Chapman QC commented: “All three have excelled during their pupillage in what were often difficult circumstances due to the pandemic. The feedback received on all three has been of the highest quality and they will prove to be first rate barristers at 18 St John Street and all three will fit with the ethos of the rest of the team in Chambers. We wish them long and distinguished careers.”
Laura Broome will practise in Crime & Regulatory Law. Laura was called to the bar in 2019 having received a first class Honours degree from the University of Liverpool- Law with Criminology LLB. Later receiving a Distinction and Very Competent from Manchester Law School & Manchester Law School- Bar Professional Training Course respectively.
Olivia West will practise in family law cases including public law, private children and financial remedy work. Olivia studied Politics and International Relations at the University of Bristol before securing her Diploma in Law at BPP Bristol and her Bar Professional Training Course at BPP Manchester.
Daniel Boal will practise in Personal Injury, Clinical Negligence and Costs Law. Daniel secured a First Class Honours degree from Newcastle University- LLB Law, followed up with BPP University- LLM Law, Distinction before obtaining Outstanding Bar Professional Training Course again at the BPP University.
The successful completion of their pupillage coincides with the recent arrival of our new pupils. We are delighted to welcome, Zara Nawaz and Ben Donaldson who are completing family pupillages and Niamh McGinty who will complete a Crime & Regulatory pupillage.
