Francesca’s practice encompasses all aspects of family law. She specialises in complex high value financial work, including matrimonial finance, inheritance claims, probate and Court of Protection work and civil disputes between family members.

Francesca also specialises in complex and serious children cases, both public law and private law, particularly non-accidental injuries and alleged abuse, leave to remove from the jurisdiction for relocations and the financial provision for children.

Francesca’s reputation is for being firm but fair, getting to the heart of a problem efficiently and with excellent judgment.

In addition to being called to the English Bar, Francesca has also been called to the Cayman Islands Bar. From December 2008 to August 2014 Francesca practised as an Attorney for Samson & McGrath in the Cayman Islands providing the service of both solicitor and barrister.  During this time Francesca appeared before the Cayman Islands Court of Appeal on numerous occasions and was also led several times by some of England’s most successful Q.C’s , for which she received her “red bag”.

Like many successful members of the Bar, she developed a substantial international practice advising client’s in England, BVI, New York, Australia, Switzerland and Hong Kong. Like many other international practitioners, Francesca is easily able to maintain a highly effective practice through centralised diary management and easy availability of flights, video conferencing and emails.
