Lisa is a family law practitioner, who specialises in private law and financial remedy proceedings.

Lisa joined Chambers in 2020 having successfully completed pupillage under the supervision of Jonathan Grierson.

Financial Remedies
In her financial remedy practice, Lisa represents parties and intervenors at all stages of proceedings. She is regularly instructed to represent parties at FDA through to FDR’s and, if required, to Final Hearing. She has experience of dealing with allegations of non-disclosure, financial and litigation misconduct.

Lisa is happy to advise in conference at any stage of proceedings, including pre-issue.

Children Law
Lisa is regularly instructed to act on behalf of parents and children (through their Children’s Guardian) at all stages of private law proceedings. She is often instructed to represent parents both alleging and disputing allegations of domestic abuse. Lisa has successfully obtained and defended findings in relation to physical, psychological, and sexual abuse, along with findings of coercive and controlling behaviour.

Lisa has experience dealing with applications involving complex parental disputes including issues arising from parental alienation, implacable hostility, and situations where there has been a complete cessation of contact.

Lisa also represents parents and children in care proceedings. She is regularly instructed to attend advocates meetings, Case Management Hearings, Issues Resolution Hearings and Final Hearings and has worked alongside intermediaries and advocates.

In addition to cases brought under the Children Act 1989, Lisa represents parties in applications under the Family Law Act 1996.

Lisa is fluent in Welsh and is happy to advise and conduct all aspects of litigation through the medium of Welsh.
