Reece is currently undertaking a Family Law pupillage under the supervision of Fergal Allen.

During his first six months Reece has observed and assisted with a range of hearings, including private and public law children matters, financial remedy cases, and non-molestation applications. During his first six months he has assisted in matters from the magistrates’ Court up to the High Court.

Reece conducts legal research for members of chambers to support case preparation and has gained experience drafting legal documents, including skeleton arguments, case summaries, written openings, position statements, legal summaries, and chronologies, ensuring accuracy and clarity for court proceedings.

Reece has a particular interest in local authority work, parental alienation, non-accidental injuries, and parental responsibility issues, including those concerning same-sex couples and surrogacy.

Reece is passionate about delivering thoughtful and effective advice and advocacy in sensitive matters, striving to make a meaningful impact across all aspects of family law.

Reece understands the barriers limited public funding can create in private law matters and is committed to ensuring access to justice. As a member of Advocate, he is ready to volunteer his expertise to those in need, believing that financial circumstances should never be a barrier to legal representation.

Reece obtained a First-Class LLB (Human Rights) degree from Lancaster University with Distinctions in both the Bar course and LLM at BPP.
